Background

GCA has been instrumental in defining and adopting a number of industry specifications and international standards throughout a number of different industries. Its aim is to help its member organisations to process, manage, and deliver information.

GCA supports SGML through its training, publications, committee work, and conferences. For example, it recently organised the SGML '95 conference in Boston and organises SGML Europe and SGML Asia. SGML Europe '96 is being held in Munich, Germany.

Documation '96

GCA is a sponsor of "Documation '96" which is to be held at Long Beach Convention Center, Long Beach, California on March 12 - 14, 1996.

SGML Europe '96

SGML Europe '96 will take place at the Munich Park Hilton Hotel, 12-16 May 1996. This year's conference focuses on the use of SGML to answer business and technical issues. Speakers will address questions, such as:
