Stilo is an "off-the-shelf" advanced document generator designed specifically for use with SGML. It brings SGML and HTML authoring to the user in an affordable general office tool.
Elements of Stilo:
The Stilo Editor is designed to allow the user to construct a conformant SGML document with a minimum number of keystrokes. Stilo handles context changes between elements for the user, presenting the next logical element in the document structure.
The Graphical DTD display enables the user to view the available document structure. It also is integrated with the Stilo Editor to act as a navigator for the document being edited.
The Multiple-File Document Manager handles multiple open documents and also permits several views of a single document. Documents constructed from a number of separate files can be edited seamlessly as one document.
The Interactive SGML Parser works in tandem with the Editor to ensure conformance with SGML at all times.
