ISUG Annual General Meeting (AGM)

Announcement

The SGML Users' Group's Annual General Meeting will take place on Tuesday, 14 May 1996, at the Hilton Park Hotel, Munich, Germany starting at 1700.

The principal topic will revolve around the proposal to create a chapter membership class. The purpose of this class is to decrease individual and institutional membership fees by increasing the total number of members in the SUG. Included in this, is the proposal for the SUG to provide more support to Chapters in both their start-up and on-going phases, helping them to provide stronger support to users on a regional basis.

Executive Council Meeting

The Executive Council, comprising representatives from each of the SUG Chapters and SIGs, will meet on Monday evening, 13 May 1996, at the Hilton Park Hotel, Munich (see concierge or activity rosters for room location) from 1900-2100.

The primary topic for this meeting will also be the restructuring. However, the focus at this meeting will be to come to consensus as to how Chapters would like to work with the SUG and to help shape the proposal to be presented at the AGM on Tuesday evening.
