SGML Europe '97 Call for Papers

Even though SGML Europe '96 is barely over, it is already time to plan next year's conference. SGML Europe '97, to be held the week of 11 May 1997 at the Intercontinental Hotel in Barcelona, Spain.

SGML will celebrate its 10th anniversary as an ISO Standard in October 1996. Next year's conference will focus on the next decade for SGML in addition to recognizing how far we have already come.

Example topics might include:

How will SGML be used in the coming years?
How will implementors push out the technological envelope?
What issues will applications need to address for use on the Internet or with corporate intranets?
What business benefits will corporations be looking for in the future?
What can we expect from product vendors?
How will we use DSSSL, HyTime, and other complementary standards in the future?
Case studies to date.

If you are interested in presenting a paper on these or other related subjects, please prepare an abstract for submission to the SGML Europe '97 Programme Committee.

Submissions must include:

Presentation title
Author's name and complete contact information (post, phone, fax, email)
Abstract (approx. 250 words)
Author's biography (150 words)
Target audience
- management or technical
- novice or experienced
