INFORIUM announces LivePAGE Version 3.0

On 8th January 1997 INFORIUM, The Information Atrium Inc. announced Version 3.0 of its LivePAGE family of software products.

LivePAGE stores, manages, searches and distributes Web and Intranet content using relational database technology. LivePAGE is also able to provide enterprise level security and navigational functionality by leveraging the strengths of the underlying database.

LivePAGE 3.0 includes:

• LivePAGE Web Organizer - manages small Intranets, prototyping system, single user
• LivePAGE HTML Edition - manages large Intranets, multi-user, uses database
• LivePAGE dbConnect - access databases in real-time
• LivePAGE CD Publisher and Web Publisher - publish to multiple media from a single source
• LivePAGE SGML Edition - extends HTML Edition to support full SGML

The LivePAGE HTML Edition is used to build and manage Internet and Intranet sites using an SQL relational database as the foundation of the site and as the storage container for the content. With LivePAGE dbConnect, the information in the Web site can be delivered "live" to users with standard Web browsers directly from the database, complete with a powerful built-in search capability.
